Manufacturing Process
There are many different types of plastic manufacturing:
Adams focuses on Extruded Polystyrene Foam.
Our process starts off with raw polystyrene pellets that are run through an extruder and mixed with a proprietary blowing agent that contains no chlorofluorocarbons (CFC). The resulting foam product is then utilized for Thermoforming or processed into a Laminated Product.
The Thermoforming process is designed for mass production of an item, such as polystyrene foam plates. Our thermoforming machinery is the latest technology and provides parts at high speed and therefore lower costs. This process begins with product design, followed by the design of custom tooling. Our sales and manufacturing teams are available to help with every step.

The lamination process involves bonding a customized material to the surface of the manufactured foam, which allows it to perform a specific task. Adams' employees enjoy the task of creating new and ever-changing products. ADAMS' opportunities lie in developing new products or effectively replacing current products with more cost efficient components.
